Research Opportunities

ELLICSR offers a variety of short term to long term research training  opportunities for  postgraduate trainees and postdoctoral fellows, masters and doctoral level graduate students, as well as undergraduate science and health professional students.

Graduate and Post Doctoral Opportunities
Our scientists hold graduate appointments in the Graduate School of the University of Toronto ( Institute of Medical Science, Public Health Science and Health Policy Management and Evaluation and Nursing) and York University (Nursing).  Funded positions for masters and doctoral students become available from time to time. Medical Student Opportunities
University of Toronto Medical Students have a number of options when it comes to getting research experience.  We welcome the opportunity to work with you to find a DOCH II project or support your CREMS experience.  Please contact Dr Jennifer Jones for more information.

ELLICSR Summer Research Undergraduate Program
Summer students can expect a highly engaging mentorship experience. They will be part of research teams that collaborate across a variety of scientific fields and engage with an eclectic mix of other students.  

Undergraduate students will be able to learn the basics of conducting research, be taught new skills, practice scientific communication and will be encouraged to submit and present results and scientific meetings as appropriate.
