Bibb or Boston Lettuce, leaves separated

Cooking Directions
In a shallow dish, dress fish with the juice of half a lime, minced ginger and soy sauce. Allow it to marinate in the fridge for about 10 minutes.
Combine napa cabbage, carrots, daikon radish, cilantro (optional), and scallions with the juice of half a lime, sesame oil, sea salt and black pepper to taste. Mix well to combine the flavours in this slaw.
Combine yogurt with toasted sesame seeds and chili (optional), and set aside.
In a medium sauté pan over medium-high heat, add grape seed oil. Once it begins to shimmer, add pieces of fish to the pan. Cook for about 3 minutes per side for a piece of fish that is about 1 inch think. Cook until the fish begins to flake.
Add a piece of fish, a drizzle of yogurt and some of the slaw to one leaf of bibb lettuce. Eat and love it.

Eating one to two servings (1 serving is 3 oz. or 85 g, roughly the size of a deck of cards) of fish a week may lower your risk of death from a heart attack by more than a third. The protective effect of eating fish may be partly explained by the replacement of the saturated fat in red meat with the omega-3s in fish.
Omega-3s may help protect the heart by reducing inflammation that can damage blood vessels and lead to heart disease. They may also help to lower triglycerides, a type of fat found in the blood that can increase risk of heart disease. Omega-3s can also reduce blood pressure and blood clotting, and improve arthritis symptoms. Some preliminary research has shown omega-3s may help prevent breast and prostate cancer from developing, but more studies are needed.
Get your omega-3s from whole foods rather than supplements. Because fish oil capsules can affect blood clotting, speak to your healthcare provider before going on supplements, especially if you take medication that thins your blood.
