Cooking Directions
If you are roasting your own chestnuts: Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
Use a paring knife to slice lengthwise across each chestnut. Soak the chestnuts in hot water for about 5 minutes.
Place in a roasting tray and bake for about 30 minutes. Once cool, peel skin and shell.
With your cooked chestnuts, roughly chop them up and add to a bowl with the remaining ingredients. Mix well.
Pour out onto a baking tray lined with parchment and flatten evenly across.
Bake in a 350 for about 20 minutes. Allow to cool and then break into pieces and enjoy. You can store in an air tight container.
