Ingredients

Crust
1Hazelnuts
2 tbspRolled Oats
3
Maple Syrup
1/2Grape Seed Oil or Coconut Oil
Filling
1 1/2 cupsCashews, soaked (overnight preferably or bring a pot of water and cashews to a boil, remove from heat, let steep 15 minutes and then drain)
2 tbspCocoa Powder
1/2 cupDark Chocolate, melted
3 tbspMaple Syrup
1 tspSea Salt
1 tbspOrange Zest (optional)

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Pulse all crust ingredients together in a food processor or blender until crumbly.
  3. Line a pie or tart pan with parchment paper. Press crust mixture into pan so that it covers the bottom and sides evenly. Pierce a few times with a fork.
  4. Bake for about 15 - 20 minutes until golden brown. Set aside.
  5. Blend the soaked cashews with remaining filling ingredients until smooth.
  6. Pour into the crust and set in the fridge for at least 1 hour until firm. Garnish with shaved chocolate and orange zest (optional). Slice and serve.
