Ingredients

2 wholeGarlic Heads
2 tspFennel Seed
12 slicesWhole Grain Baguette
1 tspExtra Virgin Olive Oil
3Fresh Figs, sliced (optional)
1 tspBalsamic Vinegar (optional)
To TasteSea Salt

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Cut heads of garlic in half. Drizzle cloves with olive oil, a sprinkle of salt and fennel seeds. Wrap in aluminum foil and place on a baking tray. Roast for about 30 minutes
  3. Once soft, squeeze garlic out of its skin. Spread over toasted crostini slices.
  4. (optional) Top with a slice of fig and a light drizzle of balsamic.
