ELLICSR Kitchen is a wonderful program where you can learn about food, cooking, and nutrition for cancer prevention and symptom management. It’s a relaxed and welcoming environment where you can learn about tools and tips to manage your diet and adopt new healthy eating habits.
We’ve been creating delicious and nutritious recipes through our live class demonstrations since 2011, and have expanded into educational
blogs more recently. But now we want to deliver even more!
What if you could cook alongside Wellness Chef
Geremy Capone and Registered Dietitian
Christy Brissette? What if you could try out some of those culinary skills in a supportive group setting while learning about all the nutritional benefits from the foods you prepare? What if the nutrition tips and recipes specifically met your dietary needs? Sounds great, doesn’t it?!
The ELLICSR Kitchen team is working hard on a brand new curriculum that addresses site specific cancers, nutritional needs, and symptom management, giving you a more tailored experience.
To make room for new classes, the
ELLICSR Kitchen demonstrations will run just once a month, on the third Thursday of every month at 12:15pm, starting in June. It’s sad to see the regular demonstration schedule change, but we are headed in an exciting new direction. We’ve spent the last 4 years building a massive library of
delicious and healthy recipes, now it’s time to do more interactive classes and build the evidence to support the work we do.
We are very excited to start delivering this new program and hope that you will join us for even more fun and delicious classes! We plan to start rolling out these new classes by the fall, so stay tuned for more details.
