Jazz Up Your Drink with Flavoured Honey

Many people find it difficult to drink enough water each day simply because of the bland taste. What if there was a way to drink more water and enjoy it too? Making flavoured honey might be the miracle we've been waiting for. Using this simple, easily customizable recipe, flavoured honey is a quick addition to any beverage - even water.

Ingredients

1 cupHoney
1Lemon, lime, or orange, zest and juice
2 sprigsFresh herbs (optional)
2 tbspWhole spices (optional)
1/4 cupFresh fruit (optional)

Directions

  1. In a mason jar, muddle the fruit, herbs, spices, juice and zest.
  2. Stir in the honey.
  3. Refrigerate for 24 - 48 hours.
  4. Strain out solids.
  5. Cover and refrigerate. Lasts for 3 - 4 weeks.
