A couple of weeks ago I wrote a blog post about
why scientists research the obvious. Scott Simpson, host of the
Maritime Morning radio show, saw the blog post and interviewed our very own Dr. Gary Rodin of
Psychosocial Oncology and Palliative Care to find out more about the topic. Scott asked Gary about:
- Why scientists research the obvious
- Challenging our assumptions
- The making and breaking of scientific theories
Listen to the interview.
It was a fascinating discussion. As I listened to Scott and Gary chatting I thought it might be fun to explore some of their ideas in more detail in future blog posts, like what happens when our opinions are contrary to what science shows. Stay tuned!
